The "Grana Padano" and "Parmigiano Reggiano" are two similar cheeses because the production steps are similar.
What makes the two cheeses to be differents is the kind of aging and the different nutrition of the cows, and just for that the "Parmigiano Reggiano" is one step more high of quality than the "Grana Padano" because this is made with milk a bit more light and than less flavored
